Exciting Opportunity: Logistics/Warehouse Team Leader

A leading company is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Logistics/Warehouse Team Leader to join their dynamic team. In this key role, you will oversee all aspects of their Logistics/Warehouse operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows that maximise productivity and meet customer demands.

As the Logistics/Warehouse Team Leader you will:

  • Lead and Motivate: Supervise and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Optimise Operations: Streamline logistics processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular stock checks, and ensure the timely receipt and delivery of goods.
  • Safety & Compliance: Prioritise safety by adhering to all health and safety regulations, including managing dangerous goods and conducting risk assessments.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement by implementing Lean Manufacturing principles and participating in improvement projects.
  • Customer Focus: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction.

What You'll Need:

  • Essential:
    • Forklift Truck Licence (Counterbalance preferred)
    • Proven experience in a warehouse/logistics environment
    • Strong leadership and team management skills
    • Excellent organisational and time management abilities
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems
