Your new companyA family-run manufacturing business in Kidderminster is looking to add to their Sales and Marketing function. This is for a permanent full-time opportunity based in their Kidderminster office working with a small and friendly team.Your new roleThe role will be working in the administration function, being responsible for customer sales requests and the administration in the sales operation, as well as supporting the management team with marketing tasks. This is a critical role in the business, where you will be working with another Sales & Marketing administrator, to deliver excellent service, business priorities and support in business critical activities.Duties will include:

  • Handling customer queries including stock, delivery and quotes
  • Inbound and outbound calls to customers and the internal sales teams
  • Investigating and resolving customer issues, including handling complaints via phone, email and letter
  • Providing relevant customer paperwork requests including POD, PO numbers
  • Processing orders and invoicing
  • Manual paperwork processing and multiple systems
  • Supporting the management of outstanding debt on customer accounts
  • Maintenance of customer order system
  • Working with internal teams, including Warehouse and Finance, for order updates/issues
  • Administration to include organising files, sending emails, letters
  • Stock management support, including record keeping of stock
  • Reporting on budgets for the sales and marketing team
  • Supporting management with marketing, including on the website, social media and newsletters
  • Using Sage and Excel.

Working hours are 9 - 5pm with 1 hour lunch, Monday to Friday working in the office.What you'll need to succeed

  • Strong data input and IT literacy skills - must be confident with manual paperwork
  • Proactive and flexibleStrong communication skills, verbal and written
  • Confident to use own initiative and managing own workload, alongside working well with a small team in a busy office
  • Experience in a similar role is ideal or a proven administration background.Sage experience is ideal
