Top of the range will be offered to a candidate with previous experience in an Accounts Assistant role, ideally with Payroll.

We are currently recruiting for a brilliant Manufacturing business, based in Dudley. We are looking for a Part-Time Accounts Assistant to join the team on a permanent basis! The team are stable and friendly, they are hoping for a confident and warm candidate with previous working experience in Purchase Ledger and, ideally, Payroll. Training can absolutely be provided for the right candidate. This role would suit a candidate that needs a flexible pattern to fit around the school run!

Responsibilities Will Include:

  •  The Accounts Assistant will be taking on tasks such as payment processing, reconciliations and payroll calculations.
  • You will work alongside the full-time Accounts team to provide support where possible.
  • The Accounts Assistant can gain the opportunity to get involved with financial reporting and VAT returns, should they want to!

Ideally, You Will:

  •  Have previous working experience in an Accounts Assistant position, in order to hit the ground running in those elements of the role.
  • Exposure or experience in Payroll would be ideal, training can be provided for gaps in experience for the right candidate!
  • Be a confident user of Microsoft packages, specifically Microsoft Excel.
  • Be willing to learn and get involved with the team!
