- Overseeing orders from customers, ranging from supply-only to turnkey contracts, which involve design, manufacture, installation, and commissioning.
- Completing design engineering tasks from sales inputs or site measurements to prepare details for manufacturing and installation, meeting customer expectations.
- Conducting site visits to gather information, specifications, and measurements for projects. Producing Method Statements and risk assessments for repair/installation activities.
- Ensuring efficient and controlled management of project work areas on-site.
- Acting on instructions from the Operations department regarding order processing, labour allocation, rework load, and future orders.
- Implementing policies and procedures for effective contract management.
- Collaborating with the sales department to ensure estimates of works are realized cost-effectively without compromising quality or safety.
- Adherence and implementation of all Quality procedures and promote quality awareness and responsibility throughout the business.
- Review efficiency of site and manufacturing operations to ensure Quality, Cost and Delivery schedules are met.
- Assisting the sales team in preparing estimates, project specifications, and requirements.
- Proven track record in project and technical management.
- Experienced in monitoring and controlling costs throughout contracts in real-time.
- 3 years experience in Project / Technical Engineer or equivalent from an engineering fabrication industry.
- Mechanical understanding and solid manufacturing industry knowledge.
