We seek a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team in Kidderminster. You will be working with a 24-year-old gentleman diagnosed with Autism and ADHD, helping him lead a fulfilling and independent life. Responsibilities:
- Provide person-centred support tailored to the individual's needs and preferences.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
- Promote social inclusion and support the individual in engaging with community activities and hobbies.
- Implement strategies to manage behaviours associated with Autism and ADHD.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, progress, and any incidents.
- Communicate effectively with the individual, family members, and other professionals involved in their care.
Requirements:
- Experience in working with individuals with Autism and ADHD is preferred but not essential.
- Understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with Autism and ADHD.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, if required.
- A valid UK driver's license.
