The schools we partner with have opportunities for working with children with SEMH, Autism, trauma, learning difficulties, challenging behaviours, and more.As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:* Support pupils in the classroom, in small groups, and on a 1:1 basis.* Use positive reinforcement techniques and behaviour-based instruction confidently.* Follow specialized support plans to help children reach their full potential.* Assist the teacher with tasks such as marking and delivering lessons.The ideal candidate will have:* Have experience or a passion for working with children with SEN* Be flexible, proactive and patient* Be nurturing and caring in your approaches* Be able to communicate effectively within a team* Have a Background in Education, Care, Psychology or Drama, as these are very transferable.* Training or experience in non-verbal communication is preferred, but a willingness to learn is essential.
