Purpose of role:Responsible for the running, performance and availability of all infrastructure technology and service deployed across all of Park Holiday’s Head Office and supporting UK locations.Ensure that technology is managed and implemented with the relevant Cyber Security controls and measures, as prescribed by the company CISO.Supervise vendors and key suppliers day to day to ensure services are being delivered in line with agreed obligations.Create a high performing team through regular feedback, coaching, creating a positive work culture and promoting collaboration.Deliver excellent levels of Customer Service and satisfaction through the delivery teams, acting as a point of escalation for key business users.Deputise for the IT Operations Manager and ensure service and availability is maintained and carry out duties as requested by the IT Operations Manager.Key Job Accountabilities * Manage and oversee the services provided by the IT Service Desk, IT Administrators and externally delivered services through 3rd parties across all agreed service levels. * With a continual service improvement mindset, strive to identify areas for service improvements, process improvements and technical improvements by constantly reviewing current process and ways of working and challenging the status quo. * Monitor the infrastructure landscape so that it remains supportable, secure and performant. * Ensure that security patching remains compliant and that risks are highlighted, managed and\or mitigated wherever possible. * Create effective process and documentation for all areas of responsibility to enable efficient controls and ways of working. * Manage, Inspire and motivate technical teams and colleagues to achieve excellent results in a service focused environment. * Strive for continuous service improvements across the landscape to increase operational efficiencies and service maturity. * Identify and explore opportunities for service and business improvement. Drives the analysis, identification, prioritisation and implementation of improvements and efficiencies. * Ensure IT compliance and governance is adhered to for SOX/PCI and other regulatory framework the company subscribes to, ensuring that commitments and deadlines are met or exceeded. * Work with the IT Operations Manager to allocate resources to ensure that BAU and small change projects are adequately resourced by prioritising accordingly. * Ensure that all communications relating the IT service provision to the business and key internal and external stakeholders is relevant, timely and accurate
