About the Role: We are currently seeking a compassionate and motivated Learning Support Assistant to join a dynamic primary school in Bexhill. This position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about supporting the educational and emotional development of children, especially those with additional needs.
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or a similar relevant qualification.
- A genuine passion for working with children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons.
- Prepare learning materials and support children in both academic and social development.
- Provide one-on-one support and facilitate small group activities to help all students thrive.
Collaboration & Communication:
Strong communication skills are essential as you will work closely with:
- Teachers, to help plan and implement effective lessons.
- Parents, to support children's development at home.
- Specialists, to create and follow individualised education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
Impact on Learning:
You will be responsible for monitoring student progress, helping to implement IEPs, and maintaining a positive, supportive environment that encourages students to reach their full potential.
