SEND Teacher - Bexhill

Engage Education is currently working with an outstanding Independent SEND school based in Bexhill who are urgently seeking a caring and enthusiastic teacher to start in January 2025 (with the potential to start sooner for the right candidate if available). This is a permanent vacancy to work with high needs classes.

This school caters for pupils aged 5 - 19 and all students admitted have have speech, language and/or complex learning needs with an Education, Health and Care Plan.

The school are looking for a passionate teacher to teach across a range of subjects in a Year 10 class. This school aims to provide a structured educational environment and focuses on developing the students independence and confidence.

It is not essential to have experience working with children with special needs, although it would be desirable, and training can be provided. What is essential however, is having the right qualities! This includes being nurturing, passionate and a desire to work with children with additional needs.
