MMP Consultancy is seeking an experienced General Practice/Development Surveyor to join a local authority based in Southeast London. In this role, you will support the Council's asset management and growth objectives, delivering professional property services including valuations, estate management, and development appraisals.

Candidates will be expected to be on site 1-2 days per week, with homeworking available the rest of the time. This is a permanent role to start as soon as possible with a salary of up to 53,241 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:
* Project manage property transactions and developments.
* Undertake valuations of council-owned property and produce business cases to support decision-making.
* Assist in the Council's growth strategy, including compulsory acquisition and land assembly.
* Manage Council-owned property, ensuring effective use and compliance.
* Provide professional advice on property matters and interpret relevant legislation.
* Contribute to property reviews and identify opportunities for service improvement and financial gain.

Essential Criteria:
* RICS membership.
* Post-qualification experience in development appraisals, disposal, and estate management.
* Strong IT skills, report writing, and project management abilities.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels
* Proven commercial property experience
