Are you passionate about nurturing young minds and shaping the future generation? Do you have a deep understanding of Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) principles and a commitment to supporting children's holistic development? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join the team as an EYFS Teaching Assistant in Bexley, DA1

You will work closely with our experienced teaching staff to create engaging learning experiences in a nursery/reception class environment - foster positive relationships with children and their families and contribute to the overall development and well-being of the students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher with lesson plans and delivery of lessons.
  • Support children's learning through a variety of activities, both indoors and outdoors.
  • Provide one-to-one support and small group interventions to children with SEN.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the assessment and observation of children's progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Uphold the school's policies and procedures, always ensuring the safety and welfare of all children.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in childcare, early years education, or a related field (e.g., CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education).
  • Previous experience working with children in an early-year setting, preferably within an EYFS framework.
  • Previous experience working in a nursery/reception setting.
  • Experience supporting children with SEN.
  • Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills and easily adaptable.
  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach to supporting children's learning and development.
