Are you passionate about supporting young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistants to work in SEMH schools in Bexley, London.
- Pay: £85-£110 per day
- Start Date: Immediate
- Requirements: Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in a supportive school environment.
Roles and Responsibilities- Supporting students with SEMH and SEN needs in their learning and personal development
- Assisting the class teacher in delivering tailored lessons and activities
- Promoting positive behavior management and emotional well-being
- Providing one-to-one or small group support as required
- Assisting with classroom organization and preparing learning materials
- Monitoring student progress and reporting back to teachers
- Encouraging a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Building strong relationships with students, staff, and parents
- Previous experience in education, SEN, or SEMH settings is highly desirable
- A caring, patient, and proactive approach to working with young people
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
