We have the perfect opportunity for you, a Teacher of MFL! Our Secondary Academy is now recruiting for a Teacher of MFL (French & Spanish) joining us from April / September 2025. All Teacher of MFL applicants must have QTS.

·All students study either French or Spanish in Key Stage 3 as part of the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme, and 80% of students in Years 10 and 11 continue their language studies at GCSE level.
This is further supported through our membership of the Leigh Academies Trust which provides regular teach-meets and co-operative training sessions within the trust to facilitate staff and student growth.

Teacher of MFL - Key responsibilities, as outlined in the job description, include;

Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge students.
Promote good progress and outcomes by students.
A Teacher of MFL who demonstrates good subject and curriculum knowledge.
Plan and teach well-structured lessons.
Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all students.
Make accurate and productive use of assessment.
A Teacher of MFL who manages behaviour effectively to ensure a good and safe learning environment.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity offering MPS commensurate with experience + Inner London Allowance. Successful candidates would need to be able to teach both French and Spanish to GCSE level.

This opportunity would also be suitable for Teacher of MFL ECTs.
