Senior Quantity Surveyor
A leading multi-disciplinary consultancy are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established consultancy firm that has earned a reputation for excellence across the construction industry. The company provides a full range of professional services, with expertise in delivering complex and large-scale projects, particularly within the Public Sector. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will work directly on major public sector framework schemes ranging from £500,000 to £30,000,000, covering both Pre and Post Contract phases. This is a unique opportunity to manage high-impact projects that shape communities, including new builds and retrofit schemes.
Duties:
- Cost Estimating
- Procurement and Tendering
- Working with JCT Suite of Contracts
- Measurement to NRM2 Standard:
- Project Financial Control and Reporting, ensuring projects remain within budget.
- Valuations
- Risk Management
Candidate Requirements:
- Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS): Must hold Chartered status with RICS and have a proven track record in the industry.
- Must have extensive experience working on large-scale public sector projects, including new build and retrofit schemes.
- Strong Knowledge of JCT Contracts and NRM2: Experience with the JCT Suite of Contracts and measurement to NRM2 standard is required.
- Excellent Communication and Leadership Skills
- Full UK Drivers Licence
