English Teachers who are seeking promotion are also sought with an accompanying TLR available for a suitably experienced candidate.

We are seeking candidates who are able to teach English across Years 7 to 11 and possibly up to Key Stage 5. At Key Stage 4 GCSE English Language and English Literature are taught with English Literature in the school’s Sixth Form. You will be responsible for ensuring the effective teaching and learning of pupils across the ability range.

  • You will need to exhibit a passion for your subject and radiate creativity and enthusiasm in the classroom.
  • You will have high expectations of yourself and the pupils, and a determination to improve the learning outcomes of all pupils.
