Job Description:
Prospero Teaching is excited to partner with a wonderful primary school in Bexley that is seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 5 Teacher to join their supportive and enthusiastic team. The role will commence after Easter, giving you ample time to prepare for a smooth transition into the classroom.
The ideal candidate will have at least one year of teaching experience and a strong desire to create an engaging and nurturing environment for children. The school is known for its friendly staff, positive atmosphere, and commitment to ensuring that every child thrives academically and personally.
Responsibilities:
Delivering high-quality lessons to a Year 5 class
Developing and implementing a stimulating and inclusive curriculum
Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
Working collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support student progress
Providing regular feedback on student development and achievement
Requirements:
A minimum of one year of teaching experience (preferably in primary education)
Strong knowledge of the Year 5 curriculum
Passion for inspiring young learners and helping them achieve their best
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well as part of a team
