Connect2socialwork are urgently looking for a Social Care Assistant to join their great team with a Pay rate up to 26 an hour on a Locum basis.

Job Description;

An understanding of the needs of older people, people with disabilities and/or those with mental health issues.
An understanding of the effects of aging
An understanding of basic disabling conditions Skills in observing and listening
Ability to teach practical skills
Ability to work in a community setting, respecting the privacy of people's homes.
Ability to travel around the borough including visiting council offices and clients homes.

Requirements/Desires as a Support worker include:

Previous experience of working within a team
Previous residential care work
Secondary Education
