Job Opportunity: SEN Learning Support AssistantLocation: BexleyWe are currently seeking a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to work with high-needs students. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), specifically those diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Specific Learning Difficulties (SPLD), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), and Global Developmental Delay (GDD).Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 support and assist in small group settings for students with high needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers to implement individualized learning plans tailored to each student’s needs.
  • Support students during lunches and breaks, fostering social skills and emotional well-being.
  • Monitor student progress and communicate effectively with the teaching team and parents.
Working Hours:
  • Start and Finish Times: Either 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM.
Start Date:
  • ASAP and £14 per hour.
Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting children and young people on a 1:1 basis is essential; educational setting experience is preferred but not mandatory. We are open to considering candidates with relevant experience obtained in other settings.
