Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide tailored assistance to students with special educational needs (SEN). This role involves supporting students in their academic, social, and emotional development, ensuring they have access to the best possible learning opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEN.
  • Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Support classroom activities and help create an inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Assist with personal care and mobility needs, if required.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their self-esteem and independence.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable.
