Exciting Opportunity: SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) - Bexley Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and helping them reach their full potential? We're looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) to join our vibrant school in Bexley starting in January 2025. Key Responsibilities: · Provide 1:1 or small group support to students with a range of special educational needs. · Help create and deliver tailored learning plans alongside the class teacher. · Support students in both academic and social development. · Assist with the integration of students into mainstream activities and environments. · Monitor and record progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents. · Encourage and motivate students, creating a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere. What We're Looking For: · Minimum 1 year of TA experience (SEN experience preferred, but not essential). · A genuine passion for working with children and making a difference in their lives. · Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. · A positive, patient, and empathetic approach. · Experience or a willingness to support students with a variety of learning needs, including autism, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties. · A proactive and adaptable attitude.
