Teaching Assistant - Full Time, Bexley Primary School

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming primary school in Bexley. This is daily supply work at the same school from 8:30-3:45 pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide targeted support to students in Maths and English, including leading group interventions to boost their skills and confidence.
  • Assist in the delivery of phonics sessions, supporting the development of early reading and writing.
  • Collaborate with class teachers to plan and deliver engaging lessons, providing both 1:1 and group support to students with varying abilities.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging all children to reach their full potential.

Requirements:

  • A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent).
  • Experience in delivering group interventions, especially in Maths and English.
  • Strong understanding of phonics and early literacy development.
  • Enthusiastic, reliable, and committed to working with young learners.
