Morson Recruitment are currently recruiting for x4 Electricians to work as an Testing Inspection Electrician, to work for a leading Electrical Power Supply organisation in the UK, to cover locations including- Kent, Surrey and East Sussex. You will be provided with a company van and fuel card. The ideal candidates must hold a Gold JIB / ECS Gold card and a 2391 Test and Inspection ticket or 2394 / or 2395 and have a clean driving licence.

Locations to be covered within 4 weeks include : Kent, Surrey, East Sussex
Length of contract: 6-12 months
Rate: £209 LTD
Hours: Monday to Friday – 8.00 am – 17.00 pm

Must have - JiB Gold Card, 2391 Testing & inspection and a driving licence.

Job description
Duties associated with inspections & reporting. No tools required for the role, purely inspection and fault finding.

Job Purpose:
Electrician to work as part of an inspection team, conducting the inspection & reporting of assets within privately owned / third party multi occupied building intakes. The areas that you decide to cover on a daily basis, will be decided by yourself.

The company has assets (cut outs, riser & lateral cabling) within privately owned multi occupied buildings, which require a survey to report on - access requirements, condition of the asset/s & identify / confirm equipment.

The inspector will be issued with a company van & fuel card, to undertake the inspections and required to work with a tablet to record the data.

Work will be issued to the Inspector via the tablet, which the inspectors will require uploading & updating back to head office on daily basis.

A confidence in using IT including - Microsoft Outlook, basic Excel and Microsoft Teams is essential.

The job holder will deliver excellence in customer service, maintaining high quality, recording accurate and timely information and have excellent communication skills.

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
Essential
• Computer literate – be able to use Microsoft Outlook, basic Excel knowledge is essential & Microsoft Teams
• City & Guilds 236 Parts 1 & 2
• JIB Gold card / ECS
• NVQ3 or AM2
• City & Guilds 2366 - Level 3 Electrical Installation
• City & Guilds 2391 - Test and Inspection or 23494/ 2395
• Hold full driving licence.
• DBS check will be required
• Medical & Drugs and Alcohol screening will be required
• Health, Safety and Environment Awareness
• Demonstrate honesty and integrity.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read drawings and understand content.
• Excellent organisation & planning skills.

Desirable
• Testing and Inspection experience would be an advantage.
• Experience in LV distribution systems.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
