Are you a Paralegal looking to contribute to the success of an exciting business where you will be given the autonomy and responsibility to manage non-contentious commercial matters, principally concerning property?

This is an exciting opportunity with a firm who plays by different rules, is value added and see's all members as partners rather than just standard employees. This is an open dialogue policy, where they assist their partners in delivering the very best. This is the opportunity to work with on the very best and varied cases, including Private clients, Powers of Attorney advise, Will and Probate and secured lending, including close liaison with financial institutions.

In this role you will be exposed to client contact, diary management, opening and cases, Powers of Attorney as well as general paralegal duties.This role would suit a secretary, administrator similar, looking to have the freedom to be creative and directly contribute to the success of a company working on exciting cases, where no two days are the same.

THE ROLE:

  • Instructions from clients at the office by prior appointment in relation to straightforward Wills.
  • Prepare, explain and submit draft documents for approval as quickly as possible - ideally on the same day or within 24 hours.
  • Present the firm's account promptly and to secure immediate settlement.
  • All enquiries outside the scope of "Easywill", involving complex trusts, IHT advice etc, are referred to senior members of the Private Client team.
  • Advise in relation to Lasting Powers of Attorney and to preparation and registration following signature.

THE PERSON:

  • Experience with private clients
  • Exposure of Wills and Probate
  • Experience with diary management
  • Experience of opening and closing case files

Must have some experience working within a busy Private Client department and must have at least 12 months of experience will drafting and Lasting Powers of Attorney experience
