Job Description

As a Year 5 Teacher, you will:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum.
  • Support and inspire pupils to achieve their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally.
  • Assess, track, and report on pupil progress to identify strengths and areas for development.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and resources.
  • Establish strong relationships with parents and carers to support pupil learning and development.
  • Take responsibility for behavior management within your class, fostering a positive learning environment.
Person Specification

We're looking for a teacher who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum, particularly Year 5.
  • Has excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
  • Is passionate about teaching and committed to pupil progress and well-being.
  • Experience is preferred, but we warmly welcome applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are eager to grow and thrive.
  • Is proactive, adaptable, and ready to contribute to a dynamic school environment.
