We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join our vibrant team in Bexleyheath. This role is ideal for someone who is committed to delivering high-quality English lessons to students aged 11-16 (KS3 and KS4), and who believes in empowering young people to enjoy a life of choice and opportunity.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Deliver engaging and high-quality English lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, ensuring all students are able to progress and achieve their full potential.
  • Plan lessons that are engaging and cater to the needs of all students, monitoring their progress throughout the term.
  • Contribute to the school’s extracurricular activities, particularly those that support literacy, reading, and drama.
  • Collaborate with other members of the English department to enhance the curriculum and support student learning across all year groups.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification recognised in the UK.
  • Proven experience in teaching English at the secondary level, with a strong understanding of the needs of KS3 and KS4 students.
