A Learning Support Assistant is needed in a Roman Catholic Secondary School in South East London.
This will be a full time, long term Learning Support Assistant post, with scope to go permanent.
Responsibilities for this Learning Support Assistant role will include but not be limited to:
* Supporting identified students in 1:1, group or whole class situations
* Working with the teachers to ensure each student's learning needs are identified
* Leading small group sessions and interventions
* Attending to students' personal needs when required
* Supporting behaviour management and using appropriate strategies in line with academy policy
* Undertaking learning activities/teaching programmes when needed
The rates of pay for this Learning Support Assistant position will be between £90 and £110 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.

A Roman Catholic All Boys School with Academy status rated 'Good' by Ofsted.
Pupil intake is for 11 to 16 year olds.
It opened in 1973 and is close partners with a sister school in the local area.
The school is a member of SELCAT and Corpus Christi Partnership.
Requirements

You are also welcome to apply if you are a British trained Learning Support Assistant or overseas trained Learning Support Assistant.
