The Role

As an Audit Director (RI), you'll be leading on all things audit and accounts, ensuring high-quality service delivery while playing a strategic role in business growth. Key responsibilities include: Audit & Accounts Leadership:

  • Acting as a Responsible Individual (RI), ensuring regulatory compliance and top-tier audit quality.
  • Leading and managing audits from planning to completion, keeping them on time and within budget.
  • Overseeing financial accounts preparation and delivering valuable insights to clients.

Client Management & Growth:

  • Being the primary contact for a portfolio of clients, building strong, trusted relationships.
  • Identifying opportunities to expand services and grow the client base.
  • Representing the firm at industry events and networking functions.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Managing, mentoring, and training colleagues, fostering an inclusive, high-performance culture.
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance and maintaining quality assurance.
What We're Looking For:
  • ACA / ACCA (or equivalent) qualification.
  • Audit Responsible Individual (RI) status (or ability to obtain it soon).
  • Strong experience in audit and accounts within a professional services firm.
  • Excellent leadership, client management, and business development skills.
  • A strategic mindset with the drive to contribute to business growth.
