Description

The Company Accountant will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, invoicing, payment collections, and maintaining the integrity of our financial records. The role also includes managing rent-related activities, such as producing and chasing rent statements.

The Key duties will include:

- Prepare and send invoices to clients in a timely manner.

- Process payroll accurately and on time for all staff.

- Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely payments to suppliers and other creditors.

- Follow up on outstanding payments and ensure receivables are collected promptly.

- Reconcile accounts to ensure all payments and transactions are recorded accurately.

- Maintain up-to-date and accurate financial records, ensuring that the books are balanced.

- Create and manage rent statements for tenants, ensuring any rent owed is chased up.

- Produce rental statements on a weekly basis.

- Prepare financial reports as required by management.

- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and accounting standards.

- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts as needed.

Profile

This Company Accountant role is a stand alone accounting role and will require someone who feels confident in all round day to day accounting procedures within a small-medium sized business.

- Proven experience in a similar accounting or finance role.

- Experience utilizing QuickBooks is ideal.

- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.

- Excellent communication and organizational skills.

- Knowledge of payroll systems and processes.

- Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure.

- Relevant qualifications in accounting, finance, or a related field (preferred but not required).
