Are you ready to take your financial accounting career to the next level? We are currently seeking a Financial Accountant for a dynamic and growing company. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the Finance Manager and Chief Accountant, contributing to all areas of company finance, from statutory accounting and tax compliance to internal audit and cash management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in statutory audits and ensure accurate preparation of statutory accounts for UK and overseas entities.
  • Oversee compliance with all legal requirements, including VAT, payroll, and corporation taxes.
  • Support cash management strategies, monitor cash flow, and handle intercompany reconciliations.
  • Ensure accurate R&D tax credit submissions and manage the company's insurance policies.
About You:

You should be a detail-oriented, results-driven individual with:

  • Experience in a finance team, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • A recognised accounting qualification or be working towards one.
