Description
Management Accountant reponsibilities:
- Preparing monthly management accounts
- Responsible for accruals, prepayments and on costs
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
- Cashflow forecast preparation
- Conduct variance analysis
- Financial analysis to support decision making
- Assist and cover VAT returns
- Working closely with other departments to improve financial processes
- Providing financial advice to management
- Participating in financial projects as required
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- Proven experience as a Management Accountant
- Part-qualified in ACCA or CIMA, or actively working towards a full qualification (preferential)
- Strong understanding of accounting and financial principles
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team
