Robert Half are pleased to be partnering with a very well established organisation based in Bicester to recruit a Management Accountant. The Management Accountant will receive a salary of up to £45,000 along with other attractive benefits including hybrid remote working!

This is a varied role that would suit someone who enjoys working as part of a small team.

Primary responsibilities;

  • Financial Data Management: Collect, process, and oversee critical financial data with precision and accountability.
  • Transaction Recording: Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded, meticulously filed, and comprehensively reported.
  • Cost Allocation: Allocate costs to departments, projects, or products to accurately reflect their financial performance.
  • Accounting Journals: Conduct thorough monthly reviews and reconcile accounting journals, including accruals, prepayments, work-in-progress (WIP), and payroll.
  • VAT Accounting: Manage VAT accounting with precision and diligence.
  • Financial Statements: Prepare and publish accurate monthly financial statements promptly and reliably.
  • Performance Evaluation: Evaluate business performance using financial metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and variance analysis to empower informed decision-making.
  • Project Margins: Monitor project margins and report variances clearly and transparently.
  • Budget and Forecasts: Actively participate in budget preparation and financial forecasts, highlighting variances to drive strategic planning.
  • Cost Evaluation: Analyse costs to identify savings opportunities and ensure efficient resource use.
  • Reports and Analysis: Create insightful monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts.

Key experience and attributes;

  • Experience: Preferably have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a multi-national environment.
  • Proficient Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Customer Orientation: Strong focus on internal and external customer needs and service-oriented mindset.
  • Cross-Cultural Interaction: Effective communication skills in diverse cultural environments.
  • CRM & ERP Experience: Proficient in CRM and ERP solutions such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 and SAP ECC.
  • Organisational Skills: Exceptional organisational abilities.
  • Team Player: Outstanding team player who fosters a positive team spirit.
