A well-established accountancy practice is looking to recruit a Part Qualified Accountant to join the vibrant team at its Bicester office. This is a fantastic opportunity for a part qualified or qualified by experience accountant to join a dynamic firm at an exciting time of ongoing growth.

The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary, depending upon experience, an excellent benefits package and flexible, hybrid working. Study support is available if required.

As a valued team member, you will have the opportunity to gain more responsibility and support the Senior Management Team with the continued development of the practice.

As Part Qualified Accountant your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation of annual statutory accounts
  • Management accounting
  • Preparing VAT returns
  • Corporation tax returns
  • Communicating with, and assisting clients with queries
  • Preparation of self-assessment tax returns
  • Prioritising own workload

  • Part qualified ACCA or ACA, or qualified by experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working within a UK accountancy practice
  • Enthusiastic, with a can-do attitude and has a positive mindset
  • Possesses excellent attention to detail
  • Can build strong relationships internally and externally
  • Has strong organisational skills and the ability to balance workloads to manage the needs of various clients
  • Has experience of sole trade, partnership, and limited company bookkeeping, VAT returns and account preparation
  • Has experience with a range of accounting software; knowledge of Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks is desirable - training on CCH will be given
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
