We are pleased to be working with an established business based in Bicester that are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join the team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous experience wanting develop in a supportive environment, while stepping into a role that assists the Management Accountant. Offering £30,000 + study support.
Key responsibilities;
- Reconciliation of foreign supplier statements for payment
- Bank reconciliation for currency accounts
- Update of monthly accruals
- Assistant with sales ledger financing monthly reconciliation
- Purchase ledger to general ledger reconciliation
- Input payments to creditors
- Monthly direct selling expenses
- Assistant with quarterly VAT return preparation
- Provide assistant to the Management Accountant with support for accounts functions including general ledger journals and month end reporting
What they're looking for;
- Good Excel skills including pivots and VLOOKUP's
- Previous experience in a similar position with a good understanding of VAT
- Excellent communication skills
