- Assemble electro-mechanical assemblies in accordance with assembly drawings, instructions, and bills of materials.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults in camera sub-assemblies down to the component level, ensuring defective items are reported to the appropriate supervisor for inventory management.
- Perform Dispatch and Goods In functions as needed.
- Support business needs in areas like testing, kit verification, stock counts, and packing.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Design Engineers, Realisation Engineers, and the Operations Manager to:
- Provide feedback on current builds to improve existing products.
- Contribute observations from prototypes and current builds to prevent risks and improve designs.
- Maintain a tidy, organised workspace by ensuring unused stock is returned to its proper location and tools are stored correctly after each shift.
- Adhere to quality standards and work with safety as a priority for yourself and others.
- Participate in Quality Control, waste minimisation, and other improvement initiatives.
- Work independently to meet deadlines while being a collaborative team member.
- Proven ability to follow technical assembly instructions and use hand tools effectively.
- Strong diagnostic skills with experience in mechanical fault analysis and repair.
- Familiarity with dispatch, goods-in processes, and stock management.
- Proactive and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to maintaining high-quality standards, safety protocols, and a clean work environment.
