Salary: Up to £50k per annum

Are you an experienced Hygiene & Facilities Manager looking for a new challenge? Do you have a background in hygiene and facilities management within food manufacturing or a related industry? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to step into the role of Hygiene & Facilities Manager.

As our Hygiene & Facilities Manager, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring that our site meets the highest standards of hygiene and food safety. You’ll be responsible for managing a team of dedicated cleaners, overseeing semi-technical cleaning of machinery, and implementing hygiene procedures to support our production schedules. We’re looking for a Hygiene & Facilities Manager who can plan ahead, make proactive decisions, and manage audits both internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities of the Hygiene & Facilities Manager:

- Manage and improve hygiene and facilities operations.

- Oversee a team of cleaners responsible for deep cleans of mixing machines and office spaces.

- Maintain and document all hygiene activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure cleaning systems are fit for purpose.

- Lead external audits and ensure that our site meets BRC requirements, customer codes of practice, and specific certifications like Organic, RSPO, and HALAL
