Shift : 0700-1700

Start date: ASAP

About the role:

As the Chef/Cook, your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborate with a team of chefs to create quality meals from a pre-ordered menu.
  • Prepare breakfast, lunch, and evening meals.
  • Supervise and support the prisoner workforce in food production.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations

About you!

  • Must be 18 or over.
  • Must pass security clearance, including a 5-year UK address history.
  • Ability to work inside a prison kitchen, supporting prisoners in food production and cooking.
  • Flexible, motivated, positive, proactive, and detail-oriented.
  • Knowledge of health and food safety legislation.
  • Conflict resolution skills.
  • Equivalent of NVQ Level 2 qualification.
  • Hold a Level 2 Food Safety Certificate or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years cooking experience
