Slinger / Banksman

Slinger / Vehicle Banksman needed in Bicester, Oxfordshire

Daniel Owen recruitment are looking for a Slinger / Vehicle Banksman with valid tickets (NPORS or CPCS preferred) to work on a long term project just outside of Bicester.

Unless local, the site is difficult to access via public transport so access to a vehicle will be necessary.

Experience having worked as a Slinger / Vehicle Banksman before is a must and the successful applicant will need to provide a reference having done a similar role.

Working hours:

Monday - Friday: 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM

Daily responsibilities for the successful Traffic Marshal will include:

• Closely working alongside the Telehandler Operator for guidance around site
• Guiding HGV vehicles on and off site
• Ensuring that road safety regulations on-site are followed by all drivers and workers
• Managing the traffic flow at the entrance and exit of the site
• Meeting all visitors to site and being the face of the project

The successful applicant will need good communication skills and the right attitude to help deliver the project from start to finish.

Requirements for the role:

- Valid Slinger ticket

- Valid traffic marshal ticket

- Full PPE (Hard Hat, Hi-Vis and Steel Toe-Cap Boots)
