Our client, are looking for a CNC 5-Axis Programmer to join their growing team!
CNC Programmer Roles and Responsibilities:
- Set, operate and programme 5-Axis CNC Milling machines
- Manufacture components in line with customer drawings
- Carry out manual inspections of components
- Maintain documentation and workplace procedures
The ideal CNC Programmer will:
- Be able to competently set and operate CNC Mills
- Proficient in Heidenhain machine controls
- Experience programming with Hypermill (Training provided)
- Will have the ability to work on more than one machine
- Have previously manufactured precision components
- Experience working with aerospace alloys, stainless steel, titanium
- Ideally be apprenticeship trained (beneficial)
Working Hours + Benefits:
- 38 hours per week (anytime between 7-5.30 whatever hours suit the candidate - they are flexible)
- Generally 5-7 hours’ overtime available each week
- 20 days holiday, increasing to 25 days after one year’s service (plus bank holidays)
