Do you have leadership experience within a luxury environment? Our client is looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join their team in the new boutique. Running from 16th November 2024 to February 2025 this is an exciting opportunity to work with a desirable brand in the luxury destination of Bicester Village.
As the Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining staff morale, compiling reports and liaising with management alongside supporting the sales team and conducting team briefs.
The hours of work for this position will consist of 5 out of 7 days per week and shifts will be dependent on the needs of the brand and the opening hours of the village.
Duties of the Assistant Store Manager:
- Writing reports and liaising with management in relation to sales and performance.
- Opening and closing the boutique including close down and set up of tills.
- Brief the team, offering product knowledge and relevant information, boosting staff morale.
- Support customers in finding the correct size, print and style.
- Manage stock take and replenishment.
- Ensure a clean and tidy store.
- Answer queries and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Gift wrap purchases in bespoke wrapping.
- Process orders using Shopify.
Personal Attributes:
- Previous management or team leader experience.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Excellent sales and customer service skills.
- Create a motivated and supportive working environment.
- Flexibility to work additional hours as required in order to support as necessary.
- Have good leadership skills and be comfortable to work as part of the team.
Offering £15.49 per hour this is a varied role that offers fantastic opportunities to support a new boutique, maintaining and boosting sales and being an ambassador for the brand.
