Teaching Assistant - Primary -Kidlington- September Start

Teacher Training Opportunity

If you are a graduate looking to kick start your career in education then this could be the perfect role for you!

An established teacher training school in Kidlington is currently recruiting for an intelligent and proactive teaching assistant to join them in September. The graduate would be working alongside the class teacher helping the children with their learning. This is an exciting opportunity for a top graduate to develop their experience within education prior to becoming a full qualified Primary Teacher. The successful teaching assistant will work across KS1 and KS2.

Teaching Assistant Criteria:

  • Graduate (ideally 2:1 or above)
  • Kidlington
  • Teaching Assistant
  • September Start
  • Previous experience working with children in a TA environment
  • Good education background (GCSE's in Maths and English)
  • Salary: £83-£90 per day

Build experience and train to become a Primary Teacher!

A graduate with a degree graded 2:2 or above is ideal for this role and a graduate with some previous experience working with children is desirable. This relevant previous experience could include childcare, tutoring, helping within a nursery, in a sport setting, charity or in a similar classroom setting. However, this is not crucial - Graduates with no experience are still welcome!

This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate to expand their classroom experience prior to undertaking their teaching training and becoming a fully qualified classroom teacher. The Primary school are offering a brilliant teacher training programme for successful candidates to begin in September 2025!
