We’re working with a large manufacturing business which operates 24/7 that is actively seeking to add a Senior Electrical Engineer to its Manufacturing Engineering Support teams.

Senior Electrical Engineer

45 hour working week

Monday to Friday 8-5pm

You will be responsible for servicing and maintenance of all production related equipment, including Fault diagnosis and repair, continuous improvement project/task work, ordering of spares and reviewing/checking designs and drawing on installation projects.

You will act as the lead and senior engineer, supporting shift engineering teams and working with the management teams to deliver a high quality of engineering support.

To be successful, we would like you to have:

  • A recognised industrial Electrical qualification (17th/18th Edition).
  • Qualified in Electrical Engineering.
  • Have experience working as a Shift Electrician or as a dedicated Electrical Engineer in a Manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in the print, packaging or associated industries would be great but is not essential.
  • Experience with maintenance programmes.
  • Some Mechanical Engineering skills would be beneficial
  • Have good communication, organisational and team work skills.
  • Self motivation, ability to apply initiative and determination.

Specific training where required will be provided, OEM suppliers and via remote modem diagnostic support from the OEM.
