Electrochlorination Engineering                                              

BICESTER Oxfordshire

We are a company, at the cutting edge of electro chlorination plant design and manufacture. Our products are used for the treatment of large quantities of water to prevent bio fouling. We both design and assemble packages, at our Bicester HO for large international companies typically in the oil and gas, power generation and desalination industries. 

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will lead our Electrical and Instrumentation Team, reporting to the Engineering Manager. You will work alongside the project team with day-to-day accountabilities that include

  • Electrochlorination package design
  • Management of sub-contractors and suppliers
  • Assembly management
  • Quality management 
  • Team management

What are we looking for?

This role is great for you if you have:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an electrical design engineer
  • Electrical or an Electronics degree
  • Proficiency working with working with various Microsoft Applications and AutoCAD
  • The advantage of experience in the water treatment sector and/or power generation/desalination/offshore and onshore oil and gas industries 
  • Knowledge of specifying electrical equipment such as transformers, transformer/rectifiers typically 10kVA to 2MVA with LV and HV AC supplies, Local Control Panels and Motor Control Centres to major international contractors’ specifications in line with current international codes and standards.
  • Knowledge of electrical design in ATEX hazardous areas. 

Other key attributes include, good all round communication skills, and a demonstrably logical and practical problem-solving perspective. You’ll be a great team player but capable of working autonomously, with well-developed planning and organisational skills and the mindset to coach and develop your team.
