Piper Maddox Energy Storage have the opportunity to partner with some of worlds fastest growing Energy Storage and Battery Technology manufacturers.
Ranging from companies developing Cells, Modules, Packs for use within a multitude of uses in the energy storage industry.
Due to significant growth our client is now hiring for a Principal Electrical Design Engineer with a primary focus on Power Electronics development based in Oxford.
The role:
Our client has developed a highly innovative Battery Storage product with a globally targeted customer base. Offering the opportunity to join a highly skilled and highly invested company driving towards series manufacturing.
This role is of Principal level, contributing heavily towards driving the complex R&D activities with a focus on Power Electronics & Grid Interfacing products.
Requirements:
- Degree in relevant electrical engineering studies.
- Must have experienced with electrical & Power Electronics design derived from captured requirements.
- Ability to perform electrical calculations, simulations, and modelling using software tools.
- Must have therotical and practical electrical development experience
- Understanding of grid interfacing products and compliance codes
- Specify and select appropriate electrical components, such as transformers, filters, inverters, switches, protection devices, and control systems.
The Engineer:
This role will suit an Electrical Engineer who is already of a principal level with specific experience of power electronics and grid interfacing products. Who has a background derived from complex electrical systems development.
This role is based in the UK or Croatia and will not be possible to work remotely, our client is willing to fully fund relocation and visa if required.
