An industry leading business is seeking a Finance Business Analyst to enhance financial awareness and support business performance.
The role requires collaboration with various teams, including Sales & Marketing and Senior Management, to prepare key monthly reports.
Candidates should have a graduate degree in Business Studies, Data Science, Finance & Accounting, or Economics, and strong Excel skills.
The position is suitable for individuals with an interest in pursuing an Accounting qualification such as ACCA or CIMA.
The salary for this role is competitive, and applicants should ideally have at least two years of relevant experience.

An industry leading business with a vibrant and energetic office and an excellent culture is looking for a Finance Business Analyst to join their team. You will work alongside the Commercial team and support with improving business performance by enhancing and driving financial awareness across the business. You will collaborate with numerous teams within the business including Sales & Marketing, Operations and the Senior Management team.Main responsibilities for the Finance Business Analyst will be:Reporting

Preparation and development of key monthly reports for both the Commercial team and for the Senior Management Team, including the monthly Finance Review and the Commercial Review Meeting pack. These reports incorporate both financial and non-financial data.
Working with the Commercial teams and across Finance on formulation, presentation and submission of the monthly Rolling Sales Forecast, quarterly Forecast updates and annual Budget submission.
Preparation and development of Operational reports for the Sales team

Commercial

Supporting the Commercial Finance department with analysis of customers’ sales performance for insight, reporting and forecasting to aid decision making
Maintaining and improving existing commercial tool/models to enhance accuracy of business case modelling

Data

Investigate and collect external data required to perform internal analysis and provide relevant business insight.
Use relevant business tools to extract, transform or visualise data to be shared with various stakeholders, including for forecasting and budgeting processes

You will:

Be a Graduate or of Graduate calibre (Business Studies, Data Science, Finance & Accounting, Economics)
Have strong system skills including Excel
Have an interest in studying an Accounting qualification either ACCA or CIMA
Be a strong team player and work in a collaborative nature
