Robert Half are pleased to be partnering with a global manufacturing organisation based in Kidlington to recruit an FP&A Analyst. The FP&A Analyst will receive a salary of up to £42,000 along with other attractive benefits including hybrid remote working, you will only need to be in the office 1-2 times a week!

Primary responsibilities;

* Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial forecasts and annual budgets, ensuring alignment with business goals and strategic objectives.* Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyse monthly financial reports, including variance analysis between actual and forecasted performance. Provide insights into key financial trends and drivers. * Data Analysis: Support the collection and analysis of financial data from various sources, identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement. * Performance Metrics: Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to assess business performance and provide recommendations for improvement. * Business Partnering: Collaborate with other departments (e.g., operations, sales, marketing) to understand business performance, support decision-making, and provide actionable financial insights. * Reporting Tools: Assist in the development and maintenance of financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools to support management in tracking performance. * Ad Hoc Analysis: Provide support for ad hoc financial analysis requests from senior management, business partners, or external stakeholders. * Process Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial reporting processes and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Key experience and attributes;

* Good experience in a finance or accounting-related role, with exposure to financial analysis, budgeting, or planning. * Previous experience in FP&A is a plus but not required. * Strong ability to analyse financial data, identify trends, and generate meaningful insights * Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage and organise large volumes of financial data. * Excel & Reporting Tools: Proficiency in Excel, including the ability to work with complex formulas, pivot tables, and financial models. Familiarity with financial reporting software (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) or ERP systems is a plus. * Experience in manufacturing industry. (Desirable)
