Wrightbus are delighted to be hiring for a Finance Manager at our Bicester site, overseeing both our NewPower facility and our AllServiceOne Bicester operations. This is a brilliant opportunity to join the fastest growing bus company in Europe during a crucial growth stage. The successful applicant will have experience of supporting a company going through rapid growth or start up phase. Experience with Manufacturing is preferred but not essential.

Key Tasks:

Management accounts

Overseeing, reviewing and contributing the preparation of monthly management accounts and associated monthly and weekly reports, meeting required deadlines.

Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.

Examine all financial reports and data closely to check for discrepancies.

Critical analysis of data.

Preparing financial reports and commentary for monthly Management Meetings.

Report to the Finance Director with timely and accurate financial information.

Cashflow Management and budget setting

Short and long term cashflow management.

Weekly reporting of cashflow fluctuations with corrective actions for the business where required.

Regular review of cashflow assumptions and reforecasting where required.

Overseeing annual cashflow projections and regularly reviewing outputs.

Develop budgets and financial plans for the company.

The analysis of cost and revenues and work on cost-reductions projects.

Provide insightful information and expectations to Directors to aid in long-term and short-term decision making.

Team management

Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, invoicing, and other transactions.

Overall responsibility for monthly returns to HMRC- PAYE, VAT etc.

Provide coaching, support and guidance to team members.

Perform annual appraisals and setting of goals and objectives for the team.

Implement training and development plans for team members as appropriate.

Implement and maintain highest quality financial controls and procedures.

Stay up to date with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial purposes.


Other Finance duties

Developing external relationships with appropriate contacts, e.g. auditors, solicitors, bankers and

statutory organisations such as the Inland Revenue.

Assist in arranging new sources of finance for business growth.

Keeping up to date with changes in the regulatory framework and ensuring compliance with financial account and tax regulations.
