As the FP&A Specialist, you will take the lead in designing and implementing a robust FP&A function, enabling the organisation to achieve greater financial visibility and strategic decision-making. Working closely with the senior leadership team, you will play a key role in driving financial efficiency and aligning resources with organisational priorities.

With a mission to drive meaningful change, we are seeking an experienced FP&A Specialist to set up and enhance our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing organisation during a pivotal stage of its development.

Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an FP&A framework tailored to the needs of the non-profit sector.
  • Design and build financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning.
  • Create and deliver insightful financial reports and dashboards to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish tracking mechanisms.
  • Provide analysis of financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Support grant applications and funding proposals with financial insights and projections.
  • Train and upskill existing team members to ensure continuity and sustainability of the FP&A function.

Profile

  • A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with significant experience in FP&A.
  • Proven track record of setting up or improving FP&A functions.
  • Strong financial modelling and data analysis skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with non-financial stakeholders.
  • Experience in implementing or optimising budgeting and forecasting tools.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
