Job Description:

Our client, a leading logistics company based in Bicester, is currently seeking experienced 7.5T Drivers to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for professional drivers looking to work with a large and reputable logistics provider. As a 7.5T Driver, you will be responsible for making up to 20 collections and deliveries per day, ensuring the safe and timely transport of goods while maintaining high standards of safety and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Driving: Safely operate a 7.5T vehicle to transport goods to various destinations across the UK.
  • Loading & Unloading: Assist with the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring all items are securely stored and transported.
  • Collections & Deliveries: Complete up to 20 collections and deliveries per day, ensuring punctuality and accuracy in every transaction.
  • Route Planning: Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries and collections.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine checks on the vehicle before and after shifts to ensure it is in good working condition. Report any issues or faults as needed.
  • Customer Service: Represent the company with professionalism and courtesy when interacting with customers during deliveries and collections.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all road traffic regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.
  • Paperwork: Complete all necessary delivery and collection documentation, including vehicle inspection logs and delivery confirmations.

Requirements:

  • Valid 7.5T Driving Licence: A full and valid 7.5T (Class C1) driving licence is required.
  • Driver CPC Qualification: Must have a valid CPC card.
  • Experience: Previous experience driving 7.5T vehicles is preferred, though training may be provided for the right candidate.
