Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced and professional Class 1 Driver to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a stable role with a reputable company. As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across various routes with no multi-drop deliveries involved.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a Class 1 vehicle safely and responsibly, ensuring compliance with all road traffic laws
- Transport goods to various destinations, ensuring timely and safe delivery
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
- Complete all required paperwork, including delivery logs and vehicle checks
- Maintain accurate records of journeys and deliveries
- Ensure goods are securely loaded and transported in accordance with safety guidelines
- Follow all company procedures and regulations
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence
- Must hold an up-to-date CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
- Valid Tachograph card
- A maximum of 6 penalty points on your driving licence
- Previous experience as a Class 1 driver is preferred
- Strong focus on safety and compliance with regulations
- Good time management and communication skills
