EC&I Technician

We are seeking a skilled and motivated EC&I (Electrical, Control & Instrumentation) Technician to join our clients dynamic team. As an EC&I Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimising the electrical, control, and instrumentation systems of our EfW facility.

Key Responsibilities of an EC&I Technician:

  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical, control, and instrumentation systems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Conduct inspections and testing of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to support plant efficiency and reliability.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs.

Qualifications:

  • ONC/City and Guilds/ NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering, Control & Instrumentation, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in an energy from waste or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, SCADA, and instrumentation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
